Soccer was the starting point, but not the destination. This story follows a young woman who began as a participant and now supports and leads new generations of girls. Her journey shows how sport can build confidence, leadership, and a lasting commitment to community.

Social Initiative:	Health and sport: building safe spaces in Morelos, 2025–2027
Location:	Niños Héroes and Alta Vista communities (Jojutla), and Tlatenchi (Morelos)
Objective:	Promote the socio-emotional and physical well-being of children and young people through sport-for-development programs and the creation of safe spaces for children in their communities
Insight:	After one year of the program, more children and young people were able to regulate their emotions, thoughts, and actions effectively in different situations. We see a community of young people resolving conflicts thoughtfully, expressing emotions and needs, and seeking solutions and social support.

When soccer becomes a game for inclusion

Soccer can also be a way to belong. This story follows a safe space where children and young people with visual disabilities can practice a discipline, build a team, and discover new possibilities on and off the field.

Social Initiative:	Topos FC: Community soccer for people with visual disabilities, 2025–2026
Location:	Madriguera Community Sports Center, Puebla, Puebla
Objective:	Expand Topos FC’s Community-Based Inclusion strategy through soccer for people who are blind in Puebla and its metropolitan area, implementing sport and social development processes with a gender and mental health perspective
Insight:	“The greatest success of this year’s project was undoubtedly the experience of the women’s team — from what happened on the field and their participation in the community, to the organization’s office, where three players found employment through the Jóvenes Construyendo el Futuro program.” — Topos FC*

A school that builds the future

A school is much more than a building. It is a place where opportunities begin, communities grow stronger, and horizons expand. This story follows the creation of a space designed to strengthen educational quality and open new possibilities for young people in Mexico.

Social Initiative:	Community Center and Telebachillerato Construction, 2025
Location:	Santiago Tianguistenco, State of Mexico
Objective:	Strengthen the social fabric of Santiago Tianguistenco by developing educational infrastructure and creating spaces for cultural and social connection
Insight:	“The preliminary community assessment was essential to ensuring the project was relevant. Territorial and social analysis tools helped define realistic objectives aligned with the community’s actual needs and identify a viable, sustainable setting for the intervention. Involving community actors from the outset strengthened local ownership of the project. Overall, ongoing coordination among the community, volunteers, partners, and local authorities was key to its development.” — Construyendo Comunidades Integrales
